Personal Training

Personal training is for everyone - not just for the rich and famous. Many people benefit from having their own personal trainer to help them stay motivated and see real progress towards their fitness goals and a healthier lifestyle.

If you are feeling tired, lethargic, lacking in energy, de-motivated, or you are overweight or simply unfit, then you will benefit from personal training. We all hear so much about how important it is to exercise regularly, so what are the actual benefits of personal training? You will feel more energized and better in yourself. As you start to feel fitter you will want to eat healthier food so losing weight becomes easier.

As a personal fitness trainer based in Aberdeenshire, I provide one-to-one personal training to people in the immediate Huntly, Banff and Keith area. The training takes place at FitLike. Training may also take place outdoors in a local park or along the seafront where power walking, jogging or running are required as part of an individual's training programme (depending on the Scottish weather of course!).

Personal trainers do vary in their approach, style and philosophy towards achieving a healthy and balanced lifestyle. It is important that you find a personal trainer who is right for you and who you feel comfortable with. I offer a unique and individual approach which is proven to work - by encouraging rather than intimidating people - and I get results.

Prices

The initial consultation is free of charge and usually lasts between 45 minutes and 1 hour.

If you then decide to go ahead and book some personal training sessions, the prices are shown in the tables below.

The price includes:

  • your one-hour personal training session;
  • provision of all the necessary fitness equipment and fitness testing;
  • goal setting and monitoring, programme design and updates as you progress, and the pre-planning of all training sessions;
  • weight management, nutritional advice and food diary analysis throughout the course of your training;
  • email support throughout the course of your training;

Single training sessions £35.00 per session

Packs of 6 or10 training sessions

As clients need at least 5 or 6 sessions to adapt to their new fitness regime, most people find that it is easier (and it is also cheaper) to book blocks of sessions in advance. These comprise:

6 sessions = £150
10 sessions = £225
